This is me
I am Jam Moonbami or Jamiraquai Mikhail Alvarez, a passionate 23 years old full-stack web/game developer with a frontend specialty born in the country of The Philippines. I like doing things on my own but I love whenever I get to do things with other people. I am always open to new opportunities and collaborations, so feel free to reach out to me anytime. Let's create something that makes people love!
The word Moonbami consists of two of my most favorite things in my life. Moon represents how I love space in which I talked about here, while bami represents my first favorite female anime character Jabami Yumeko. However, you can just call me Jam, Moonbami or whichever you prefer.

Anime だいすき!
Anime is a significant part of my life, and it has influenced my creativity and mindset. I love watching different genres of anime from drama, action, romcom, slice of life, fantasy and more. But what I really love the most are the waifus of an anime. These girls are the reason why I made tsukiwa.
I usually watch through Crunchyroll and I sometimes use VPN whenever the show I want isn't available to my country. If the show isn't really available to crunchyroll for some reason, I don't hesitate to set sail to the seas when geo-restrictions occur. You can check out my AniList profile if you want to see more of my detailed anime tracking.
Programming
I'd never had any interest in programming back then, I don't even think myself doing it as a hobby. I remember there was activity at my campus where you have to generate and utilize basic HTML. On that day, I don't even know how to begin because I don't even know what to do in the first place. Fortunately, it's a pair, so my friend helped me up. I was watching him at that point while he worked on HTML for our activity. I feel as though I am falling behind and that I SHOULD be doing these kinds of things. After the activity, I began studying the fundamentals of web developing about a week later.
I immediately loved the process of organizing your files, folders, codes, etc. The idea that your workspace should be tidy and well-organized. That's a feeling I want to experience repeatedly. That's when it all began, and now I find myself as dreaming of becoming a software engineer.

Into the stars!
I've always been curious about if humans are the only living beings in the universe. Eversince I was a child, I have so many questions. I wish I could glimpse of what is future of Earth before I leave it. Like what is it be like to have advanced technology, humanoids and a lot more! Witnessing our own Milky Way Galaxy up close is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience but light pollution makes it hard for us humans to see it. I that someday, I'll be able to see the stars and our galaxy with greater clarity at least once in my life.
It really is unbelievable to know that we humans are just a tiny dust across the universe, how insignificant we are and our existence. Living is a great coincidence since imagine that we have trillions of galaxies and star systems but what are the odds that one of them can contain living beings.
grade school
I started my education at Morrisonridge Academy as an elementary student. I was a curious child who loved to explore and learn new things. My time there laid the foundation of my present mindset and personality. In over 6 years, a lot of memories still lingers in my mind whenever I go back to the time of my childhood.

High School
I continued learning in Pitogo High School as an high school student. I experienced a lot of things that I didn't experience during my elementary days. New people, personalities, behaviours, attitudes and even environment. The overall experience shaped my overall self as well.
High School
I continued my high school years to another school and also graduated in General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School. I can confidently say that this school years are probably my best school years. I have experienced a lot of things that I can't forget. Pure and genuine happiness, sadness, frustration and more. One of the years that has a huge influence in my character development.

Senior High School
An additional 2-year program was added to the Philippine education system. I have chosen TVL-ICT as my strand in the school of Unida Christian Colleges. Though, I only experience a year in this school due to the pandemic, I still learned a lot of new things that made me a better person. I also have a lot of experience here that I won't ever forget that also shaped the person of who am I now.

College
Lastly, I get a degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in Cavite State University - Bacoor Campus and currently finishing my degree. The last stage of education that taught me the most lessons in life. The years that I have spent here greatly shaped my overall mindsent and personality about things around me, familiy, friends, relationship and especially myself.
Seeking My Next Opportunity!
Now, my formal education has prepared me with the tools to tackle new challenges and obstacles personally and professionally. I'm ready to learn new things that will improve me and my skills. I am actively looking for my next project or a team to join. If you have an exciting opportunity, want to discuss a project or just want to be friends with, I would love to hear from you.
No Game, No Life!
Last but not the least, also a significant part of my life is none other than gaming. I have been playing video games since I was a child, and it has always been my source of happiness. Without it, I may have never met wonderful people. I love playing Visual Novels so much, the stories that give me different lessons and inspirations in my life. I also love playing Gacha Games, I just love collecting different type of characters. Some of them had special place in my heart.
I mostly play on Steam and spend most of my time in Umamusume: Pretty Derby but I also play Left 4 Dead 2 especially with my friends. If I ever want to just chill after a long day, I would just play Stardew Valley as this is my go-to whenever I want to relax.
